Any Nazarene who is a registered architect, registered engineer, state-licensed general contractor, or constructor meeting the qualifications established in the NBP constitution and bylaws are eligible for membership in NBP. In addition, related professionals such as attorneys, realtors, planners and designers of church-related facilities, financing consultants, manufacturers' and suppliers' representatives, contractors and constructors not meeting the qualifications established in the constitution and bylaws, subcontractors, architectural and engineering students or graduates may become members without meeting bylaw qualifications.

While all are constituted regular members, they are grouped into four categories as follows:

• Architects
• Engineers
• Contractors/Builders
• Related Professionals

Additionally, building professionals of sister denominations who embrace the Christian faith in the Wesleyan tradition may join as affiliated members.
